Business Development Manager - Gold Coast

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team.

Having great interpersonal skills is crucial for success and an understanding of both the aesthetic elements (design trends, colour schemes, patterns) related to tiles and stone and the technical aspects of the products such as material composition, durability, installation techniques. 

The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving sales, providing exceptional customer service, and promoting our diverse range of products to clients across various industries while building and maintaining strong relationships to ensure ongoing working collaborations. 


Responsibilities

  • Traveling to and from clients (Northern Rivers, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast)
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, architects, interior designers, builders, developers, tilers, contractors and other stakeholders within the construction industry
  • Interacting with customers to understand their needs, preferences, space requirements and budget restraints. Providing personalised recommendations and solutions to meet those requirements.
  • Custom sourcing products from suppliers overseas that meets the client’s brief.
  • Generate leads, follow up on inquiries and actively pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets as well as consistently closing deals. 
  • Provide accurate quotations, negotiate pricing and close sales transactions in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated on industry design trends, styles, and popular patterns to maintain a competitive edge in the market as well as product development to identify opportunities for business growth and differentiation.
  • Performing administrative duties such as following up with clients after each visit, preparing sales reports, maintaining customer databases and processing orders.
  • Addressing customer concerns and complaints promptly and effectively. This requires good problem-solving skills and the ability to find solutions that satisfy both the customer and the company.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing and delivery.


Qualifications

  • Valid open driver license and roadworthy vehicle 
  • Proven experience in sales, (preferably in the tiles, stone, or construction industry)
  • Strong understanding of tiles and stone products, including materials, applications, and installation methods. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate product features and benefits effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Goal-orientated mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Have the ability to close the deal when the opportunity rises.
  • Experience and proficiency in an ERP system.

Senior Storeperson - Brisbane

Full-Time Warehouse Assistant / Storeman

We are currently looking for a dedicated Senior Storeman to join our team at our brand new Geebung Warehouse in Brisbane. In this role, you'll be responsible for stock receivables and dispatch, stock movements, and various other warehousing tasks. It is a great opportunity to enter the company during this exciting growth stage and help build a team to support the company's growth objectives.

Hours: Full Time

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Pick/pack/ Order Dispatch & Receival
  • Unload Trucks & Containers
  • Stock Movement - safely operate forklifts to load, unload & move stock
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and complete basic inventory checks.
  • General store & warehousing duties, plus assisting our Warehouse Manager in day to day operational processes
  • Follow company procedures and OH&S requirements at all times.

 

About you (Skills & Requirements)

  • Current Forklift License
  • Previous warehouse experience required (5years+ preferred)
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 25kg
  • Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn; demonstrates a positive approach.
  • Have your own car and current drivers’ license
  • Valid work rights within Australia
  • Always wanting to do the right thing by the Client
  • Ability to pass OHS testing / assessment as well as physical, drug and alcohol testing
